Content type Selection

OnePlaceMail will automatically select the default content type applied on the location being saved to.

Additional content types can be selected from the drop down menu.

Email Content type

In a scenario where a document content type and an email content type is available on the document library, it is recommended to :

  1. Order the document content type first and email content type second
  2. Define the email content type in OnePlaceLive Settings

When this has been configured, when saving an msg or eml file OnePlaceMail will automatically load the email content type specified, ensuring that email metadata is captured in the save process.

Configure OnePlaceMail to disable the 'Save' button when the email content type is not available. The item to configure in OnePlaceLive Configuration Profile is 'Email Metadata not being captured notification'
