Licensing
The OnePlace Solutions suite of products is licensed on a named user basis. Each OnePlace Solutions client installation references a central list (License list URL) in SharePoint/Office 365 (containing the central license key) to access/manage licensing.
Licensing OnePlace Solutions suite
We recommend adding the OnePlace Solutions administration site to your SharePoint environment. This contains a license list ready for you to add your license key to.
Alternatively, you can create your own license list in your SharePoint site.
- Users must have contributor permissions to the license list, allowing for automatic tracking and allocation of user licenses.
- Alternatively, users may have read access to the list. If this option is used, then the license list will need to be pre-populated with user's credentials in the domain\username format.
All installations of OnePlace Solutions 7.0 and above (including upgrades from previous releases) require a new license list and key to be created. | |
The R7.x license list cannot be created on a SharePoint 2007 server |
