Email Tracking Service
Email Tracking is a service which extends the use of OnePlaceMail across the enterprise to provide visibility around what emails your colleagues have already saved to SharePoint.
The service supports Exchange 2013 (and above) on-premise and Office 365 environments. End users will see a 'Transferred to SharePoint' category in Outlook for emails saved to SharePoint.

Supported environments
- Exchange 2013 or Exchange Online (365) is the minimum requirement.
Server requirements
- Windows Server 2012 / Windows server 2012 R2
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 installed on server
- Network connectivity to Exchange 2013 / 365
- The service cannot be load balanced. It can only be installed on one server. By geographic region, the service can be installed and configured on a different server separately connecting to a different service mailbox. Each client machine can then be configured to send transaction emails to the appropriate service mailbox.
