Connect to OnePlace Solutions Site

As an Administrator of OnePlaceLive

Prior to using the OnePlaceLive client you must create a OnePlace Solutions Site. The OnePlace Solutions site is the location for saving Solution Profiles created via the OnePlaceLive client.

1. Download the OnePlace Solutions Site and extract solution file (sandbox solution)
2. Create the OnePlace Solutions site / install the Sandbox Solution within your SharePoint environment
3. Connect to the OnePlace Solutions Site from the OnePlaceLive Client application

• Copy the URL of the OnePlace Solutions Site
• Launch the OnePlaceLive Client application and paste the URL into the OnePlace Solutions site URL and click 'Connect'

Once connected, the Solution Profiles area will be available.

Once connected, you can switch to a different user account if you have created a specific user for managing Solution Profiles.

As a OnePlaceMail or OnePlaceDocs user

The OnePlaceMail/OnePlaceDocs client can connect to the OnePlaceLive solutions profiles service by simply entering the OnePlace Solution Site URL into the settings window. Alternatively, the OnePlace Solution Site URL can also be set as one of the .msi switches when deploying OnePlaceMail/OnePlaceDcos across the organization.
